In creating Week 18, I was drawn to a newly discovered designer, Juno Designs, and her Everyday Life April collection as the orange, red, green and blue colour scheme was simply perfect for this week - with all four colours prominently featuring in my chosen photos. Also I just had to have the super cute 'Captured' filler card - Since finding them, I have fallen in love with the 'Everyday Life' monthly collections as they are full of so many elements and goodies each month. They are currently available from The Digichick store but only until this Thursday as Juno Designs is moving her store with the new one opening on 8th August - so if you like what you see, be quick to visit the soon-to-be-closed store as everything is 40% off....
The beginning of this week saw school return for Term 2, which as starting with a 5-week block. It was a bit of a shock to the system after working part-time for the last few weeks of Term 1 and having had two weeks off, and I certainly hit the ground running!! Staff Development Day on the Monday was all about neuro-science, the brain and what new scientific offerings offer teachers in terms of teaching and learning in the classroom. It was a super interesting day!! The rest of the working week was all about finding my feet in a new classroom with a new class of chatty individuals....
Well that's Week 18!! Week 19 is another big week as it was my 16th wedding anniversary and Mother's Day - so I hope you will come back and continue to share in my PL journey.
Until then....
