Well here is the left hand side....
I love this photo taken on playground duty - for no other reason but the colours and lines of the painted snake on the asphalt. It simply took my fancy and so I took a photo....
Until next time...
Week 36 was created using one of my favourite monthly collections from one of my favourite designers - August Storyteller collection by Just Jaimee. These monthly collections are HUGE and full loads of different goodies - papers, embellishments, word art, templates, PS styles, brushes, cut files, tags and the list goes on... and all at a bargain price if you subscribe to Jaimee's newsletters. They are a must buy item for me every month, and if you have not seen them, you should definitely check them out - no matter whether you are doing physical, digital or hybrid PL. You can actually pick up past collections by Just Jaimee this weekend as part of her Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale - so head over to her website and check them out.... Well here is the left hand side.... The week started out like I wish every week could start... with a day off which was spent with my digi-hybrid partner-in-crime, Sam of Commentary Hush Saga doing what we love!! I love doing PL but I love it even more when you get to share it with a friend. We had been trying to coordinate a day off together for ages and finally it happened. This is a photo of our creative mess on her dining room table. As you can see, we both have a sweet tooth and have a tradition of eating 'Maltesers' and 'Strawberry & Creams' (which I think we had finished by this point in the day) while we work. Well one does need to maintain one's energy while creating!?!?! And that's our story and we are sticking to it... If you have not yet discovered Sam's blog, you should definitely check it out and explore her amazing PL pages..... I just love this photo of Sam's youngest son, who was so excited about educating me in the world of Teenage Mutant Turtles!! I love how I was able to capture him in full explanation mode behind the turtles in this photo. Having only a daughter who is very much a girlie girl, it was a refreshing change to be introduced to the world of boys... I just had to capture a photo of these super delicious chocolate croissants that I had the pleasure of enjoying at school. Gotta love it when you score a day when there is a morning tea... And the week continues with the right hand side.... As I was hoping, I love reading the journaling on the first card above, where I take time out to appreciate the random everyday moments that make up the goodness of my life. It is this kind of thinking that I like to recall and enjoy when having a 'meh' moment. And I do love this particular journal card design which I created with some word art and wood veneer hearts - so simple but perfect for what I was wanting to capture. This is the beauty of working digitally in designing my pages, as if I cannot find the perfect journal card, I am able to put together different elements and simply make my own, knowing that it will work with other supplied cards as have been drawn from the same collection. I love this photo taken on playground duty - for no other reason but the colours and lines of the painted snake on the asphalt. It simply took my fancy and so I took a photo.... The craftiness of the week continued into the weekend with another friend joining me for some scrapbooking fun on Saturday. I love having friends that enjoy my passion for memory keeping!! We too have a tradition of enjoying edible delights while scrapping - chocolate and vanilla coke!! It is usually a block of Kit Kat but today we splashed out on Red Velvet Tim Tams!! I am a big fan of anything red and love how you can see my red album in the background of this photo while highlighting the red velvet stripes within the biscuit. I still pinch myself at times when thinking how I have been embraced by the scrapping world in terms of my PL, and still get excited when my work is acknowledged by designers who I not only work with but more importantly admire!! I never imagined that I would experience such accolades when I started this journey and still find it hard to believe... And for the layout as a whole.... I really love this week's spread - it is definitely one of my favourites!! And sharing it with you has definitely lifted my spirits and made me smile. I hope you have enjoyed it too....
Until next time...

Ahhh Miss Moonie!! Thank you as always for stopping by and leaving me such lovely comments. Yes complete bugger about the speeding fine - just think of the fun I could have had with that $359!?!?!? And to think he did me in 4 mins into the school zone - I did not realise the time as usually going through at least 10 mins earlier... but do the crime, do the time!! Look forward to seeing more of your gorgeous pages upon your return home. Take care xoxo
