For this week, I chose to use Mye De Leon's 'I Collect Memories: Piazza' August collection. Sticking to my one designer per layout creative process is so easy when using Mye's designs as she provides options galore. Her monthly collections are just so full of goodies and this one was no exception with gorgeous journal and filler cards, pattern papers, elements, word art, tags and so much more. And to top it all off, the colours were a perfect match for my chosen photos - pulling together the blues, yellows, oranges and greens throughout. It certainly made pulling the week together so much easier in terms of creating the cohesiveness I like to have in my layouts...
Here is the left hand page....
In terms of techniques, nothing super grandiose, just my favourite go-to's in terms of digital brushes and stitching. I love how these two simple embellishments are both simple but effective. The stitched arrow design on the 'awesome' filler card was created using one of Amy Tangerine's piercing stencils - so simple but I just love the look!!
Finally, the whole layout....
Well that is Week 22!! Not the most exciting week in history Hopefully you will join me tomorrow when I share Week 23 as I will be having a huge catch up photography session tomorrow - photographing weeks 23-31 - ready for sharing. So once again, my neighbours will think I am strangely photographing my verandah again......
Well, until then......
