This week I used digital supplies from the Echo Park Photo Freedom range which can be purchased from Jessica Sprague's website. I love Echo Park products both in digital and physical formats. Their designs are so colourful and this range is just perfect for PL with papers, journal cards and embellishments.
I have really struggled with my weekly title cards this year. Last year I used a set of weekly templates by Nettio Designs but they have since become unavailable. I liked the templates as they were predesigned, and all I had to do was clip my chosen patterned paper and embellish if I so desired. Yet this year, I decided to move away from the 4x6 title card in the top left hand corner to allow for an additional photo, and also decided to allow myself some creative freedom with the new 3x4 title card, with no set design each week. Well, sometimes too much creative freedom is not a good thing!! I have become overwhelmed by the task of creating the perfect weekly card - trialling patterned papers, embellishments and date stamps to create them each week. I have not been happy with any of them, and have redone them multiple times over the course of the past 13 weeks. I finally made the decision last week to return to a set template for each week, which can of course be customised to the week in question in terms of colour, pattern and embellishment, while still maintaining a consistent look. And the result is that I am much happier....
Enough about my title card dilemmas, here is Week 2!!! It is not one of my favourite weeks, but it is done and I am happy with that. You will soon realise that I am a perfectionist, and battle these demons with each and every layout I do.
Until next time!!
