So I have spent the weekend catching up on photographing my pages and editing the images ready for sharing here.... I think I am finally getting my groove on in terms of photographing my pages, having found the perfect spot so as to nearly remove all glare from the page protector - no longer requiring the photos and cards to be removed from the page protector!! Saves so much more time. The perfect spot is just inside my front door!! People walking past must think I am mad, constantly photographing my floor!?!?! But hey, aren't we all a little mad....
This half of the week was all about shoes, clouds and a injured knee (but more on that later...). I have developed a new addiction for ballet style shoes, and have begun collecting them in as many colours possible. I am particularly in love with the red floral ones featured and have them in black, red and navy.... And my cloud obsession was fed on a daily basis this week - especially by the awesome storm cloud that I witnessed forming in the distance while driving home late one afternoon....
Saturday was scrapbooking day with a friend and saw me return to a traditional double 12x12 layout - a nice change from pocket scrapbooking. We have such different scrapping styles and so thought it would be fun to create pages using the same sketch so as to see the different interpretations. We both got our pages completed along with much chatting, coke drinking and chocolate eating....
Sunday - well Sunday is our family day when we try to do something together after living our somewhat separate lives throughout the busy working, teaching and learning week. It is also the day when all the pets get some attention and UV time outside - especially the snakes. This particular Sunday we decided to head off on a picnic to the local lake and park. Upon stopping to buy some pies, we nearly ran over a Blotched Blue Tongue, who immediately stole our hearts. After being tempted to take him home, we did the right thing and released him in the cemetery across the road, so as to keep him away from the carpark and highway. He was so beautiful - especially to a reptile loving family such as The Barnards!!
Thanks again & until next time....
