I had too many photos for a standard double layout and so included both Becky Higgins Design H and Design G inserts along with my normal double Design A pages. The photos did not lend themselves to a narrow colour palette so enter 'Project 2015 January' by Wishing Well Creations. This collection was perfect with its clean graphic designs using a multi-coloured rainbow palette. I just loved the bright colours of the collection, which includes papers, cards and elements - all of which have been incorporated into my pages. I have also supplemented the collection with some goodies from Peppermint Creative and Just Jaimee and even threw in a filler card from Studio Calico's Farfaraway collection. I do like to stick to one collection when creating my pages so as to limit the options available but also like to be a little eclectic at times. Whatever it takes to create pages I love!! I might still go back and add some physical embellishments as it needs some wood veneers (my all time favourite embellishment) but only time will tell...
So here is the left hand side of the page - including front of Design H insert as I designed it as a 18x12 page...
Now for the right hand side of the layout - again including the back of the Design H insert:
Well that's the weekly layout... I do not have the usual layout as a whole image due to the inclusion of the insert as part of the whole, rather than simply an insert. I did enjoy planning the page this way, and like how it created a sense of continuity. But there is also a Design G insert to share, which is more of a stand-alone insert as it is of our belated family Christmas celebrations. It was so hard in culling the photos down for this insert as there were so many to choose from, but I tried to just choose those that were representational of the day....
Until next time....
