I knew exactly what photos I wanted to use for this challenge and what Miss Mint collection I would use......
In creating the page, I have used the free Pimp My Page template available here at the Peppermint Creative website, which downloads as a layers .psd or Photoshop file. I have also used the delicious 'Berry Sweet' kit and LIP (Life in Pictures) collection by the same name for the perfect papers, elements, word art and journal card - how could I not use these for this moment and memories??? The stamped background is from Miss Mint's 'Paint Box v.02' and was simply recoloured to suit. A couple of elements were taken from other collections by Miss Mint - the perfect 'you're never too old to be silly' word strip is from the 'Hello Giggles' collection and the cute heart embellishment is from the 'Funktography' collection - both awesome collections in themselves. I love pulling a mix of items from different collections, and Miss Mint has the knack of coordinating her products beautifully.....
The only non-Miss Mint products used on the page is the stitching around the perimeter of the page, which is from Traci Reed's Bad Sewing Machine XVIII - Kinda Kleen collection. I also used a Photoshop style by Just Jaimee in turning the Miss Mint alpha into a stamped effect - with the style coming as part of her August Storyteller collection.
I am so happy with how the page came together and it did so in record time... just the too'ing and fro'ing about a red background or a chocolate background slowed the process!!!
So if you are looking for a fun challenge, you should check out the monthly PIMP MY PAGE challenge at Peppermint Creative and you could win some free awesome Miss Mint products.....
I will be back later tonight with our regular programming with Week 32 of my PL journey....
Until then....
